Alan you sexy guy, Ill need your welding expertise!

My car failed its MOT on:

-Loads oif bulbs and alignment of bulbs, got all or pretty much all that fixed.
-Nearside front lower suspension component mounting prescribed area is excessivly corroded
-Offside Rear parking brake no effort
-Emmisions. CO2 level was to high on fast idle. Was 0.62 and supopsed to be 0.30
-Nearside Rear suspension arm insecure
-Parking brake efficiency below requirements

Advisory:
Offside front anti-roll bar linkage has slight play in a ball joint
2 front tyres close to legal limit
Drivers door hinge insecure. (needs welding on the door I think)

I just passed my MOT on friday!

I paid £160 for the rear axel to be replaced, as I failed to do it myself.

The rear axel was pretty much better than mine too and cost me and extra £60.

In that £160 I also got new backing plates, hand brake cables and everything on the back sorted.

On the morning of the MOT I went to Halfords and got some Wynnes Oil treatment and fuel treatment at a total cost of £19.98 and put that in the oil and fuel tank.

Put a little bit of some syntehtic oil in too. As last time it failed it failed on the emissions so I think all this helped :)

So now all MOTd and also Ive found some guy whos going to sell me 3 arches with clips for my car. I only need one so its all good, at £15 each delivered.

Oh and thanks to Alan for the welding part!!
