I think you do not realise how little that team of players has played, bar a couple of people the NZ team has played 24 games as group.
England has so many Injuries to coeshen is not there at all.

That sad past few games before this they have played in the wrong direction and with the wrong style which is a coaching error.

Bar lots of errors today which made the score worse then it was, there were very good signs there tbh.
The style of play and they way they were playing tactically was a LOT LOT better then it has been and the right way to play. More play time, less injuries and less errors and England could be up there.

You didnt seemt to bothered about Mr Robinson last week, all of a sudden hes the problem.

England, both managerially and playing staff, are an amateur setup compared to the likes of Australia and as for the All Blacks, their isnt a comparison, England are plodding kick and clappers who need to go back to the drawing board and look at where they are going wrong. To be beaten by the All Blacks was bad, but to be beaten by the argentinians at home shows England are in a mess.

Its a simple equation - when we won the World Cup, we had far and away the best set of players in the tournament, and in reality, we shouldve won it more easily. The reality now is that we do not have those players, and so the guys that have replaced them have not lived up to that mark.

The other part of the problem is that again, when we won the world cup, we were at the leading edge of the professional era, possibly for the first time ever we were the fitest, fastest, best-prepared team in the tournament.

The way things are now, the really outstanding players of the previous England Era have moved on, as has the professional game, and unfortunately, it seems like NZ have a situation similar to what we had in 2003, the best crop of players, and the best set-up too.

If we want to do anything to prevent this cyclic situation happening in the future, we need to invest more than ever, more than any other country in the grass roots of the game, so all the best athletes dont go to play football, and rugby has a fighting chance. Unfortunate thing is it may well be a decade or more before we see dividends of that investment, if it is put in place.

(NB: None of this means I actually really think AR is ever going to cut the mustard as England Boss, decent coach, not the tactical leader required for the top job though)

first off, who said he was a problem, who has had a change in mind?
Not me :P

Even if its not his fault, the point is he is the only person of the old coaching staff etc still there, all the other got sacked.
England are still loosing and to teams they should be beating even if they are playing badly and that is a problem and changes will and need to be made even symbolic and one of those is to get rid of the head coach for new blood and a change in direction.
Any sport, any team this can and has happened and this is no different.

Englands performance agaisnt new zealand was promising, there were signs not seen in past games over the year and last, it improved but there was a lot of errors and that needed to be sorted.
This was not, they made even more so the coaching to deal with that was not there and well documented on the rugby review shows and papers.
Along with this you have no leaders behind the pack, in rugby you do not and can not have just one it is impossible.
And you have hodgson, not kicking to well but leading the backs, taking him off not only lowers his head for the future but also causes more leadership problems which showed and again documented by analysts and media pundits all saying the same thing.

The Players are there, the skill is there somewhere but the style of play currently is poor and the concepts is terrible. The English pack was the most feared in the world and while not the best recyclers of the ball or the fastest it was at least clean ball, well protected.
With the changes to the squeeze ball rules being used just after the world cup while everyone else adopted the correct approach (I think the welsh being one of the best to adapt) England could not change or sort it out and that is a coaching error.
Club and country its been an issue

Robinson has never been what people consider a good minded coach and the passion has not been around since he has been there. He is not terrible but his direction is not right, even with new staff and new leaders above him he still makes the calls and the final choices and no matter what he will  go.

Question is will it be this week before the South African match or after, but he will be going.

Didnt see the game today, listened to bits on the radio though, sounded like another low-skills performance against a low-rate South African side. Hardly inspirational stuff :(

The Sky commentators had it right, we had all the possession in the 2nd half but we could not get beyond their 22 yard line.  That is until Phil Vickery came on which seemed to make a bit of difference.  Also, why cant our lads pass the ball to hand, its always past or behind the intended target.  The number of times England went backwards due to passes was worrying.
