lol thats old as heck.

Been out for years :D lol  6 of them to be exact :D.

Does 0-250mph in 5.2 seconds I believe. Not hit a top speed on the road yet as the test driver had to back off as he started being pulled from the bike.

$250,000 gets you the bike + a custom trailer to hold it last time I checked :D

also theres a turbine lag......

like waiting for the turbo to spin up and give your engine a kick, cept the turbine is the engine, *doh*

do remember readin that a fancy pants SUV pulled up too close behind one of those and it melted its bumper off

Yer, thing is the forced-induction / turbo effect on this thing is driven by the whole bike going forwards

so 0-10 is slooow 10 to 20 is slightly less slow...  30mph to 40 is getting faster, 40 to 50 is better again etc..

80 to 150 is not going to take too long ;) as the engine is swallowing plenty of air at this speed and is only thirsting for more.

Everyone suddenly becomes an expert in thermodynamics as soon as this thing crops up

You cant compare it with a turbo on an IC engine, its completely different.

i know, just compairing the lag as the turbine gets up to speed when you crack the throttle....
(although they do both compress incoming air by using their exhaust gases ;))

worst still is i think you dont have any engine braking ??? so you gotta stop that big heavy lump using the front wheel

all i can say is at least the helicopter engine is going to good use

nah no more nails sucks until it cures, get some medium race slicks on it and find a nice runway that b52s use
