Ghost Rider on the Susuki Hayabusa turbo
doing a wheelie at 271 kilometer/hour = 168 mile/hour (mph), on a road, just crazy.
he overtook the bike doing 271 on one wheel, i bet he was doing 280.
further on he does this, Wheelie at 295 km/h ?? :o insane
edit. the video title.
500Bhp Suzuki Hayabusa Turbo Motorcycle (Fast) - Gr2 Ghostrider Goes Wild (248Mph)
found this.
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=L6Kt7dvEEGo
off youtube.
(This is ghost rider, looks like no ones said that...its off the ghost rider dvd I have complete nutter but very talented. the bike is very quick and yes the cam bike was flat ou. get the dvd. )
I think the Ghost rider died street racing.
Edit, a funny comment.
(Nice but for the rest of us riders thats just not right. I get pulled over for doing 10 over the limit because I am riding a sport bike. And this may be the reason why. I pay your tickets, they cant catch you. )
-
Thats insane, very stupid but great at the same time :)
I would kill myself with that bike tho
-
insane yes, bout 5 years old too.
so far in the 8 years riding bikes (3 on the current one <-- ), only had the one speed ticket.
last year on the M1 on a "bike crackdown" day, the swines. :disappointed:
so to stick a big finger up at them, think ill get that fireblade ive fancied for the last year :heehaw: :mutley: :nana:
doubt the 954 ill probably get will have owt need 500 bhp though :o
-
I still have the ZX-10 but it never goes out. Sick of bikes altogether. Totally uncomfortable, too impractical, too cold even on a hot day and they arent *that* much faster (If even) than (tuned) cars (Of which there are a lot of over here - few evos over 750bhp etc) any more.
-
ideal for me on a budget though -)
-
I wouldnt mind a bike at all, would love and R6. Definately a sports bike, but would also love the factor of cruising bike.
But I like to be all warm and toasty in my car, I normally have the heat turned up quite high, except in summer of course.

You say that though, but have you thought of your wrists? I couldnt ride my old R6 more than a 10-15miles without having to get off and relax my wrists.
-
Because he says "sports bike, but then... cruising bike" surely a sports tourer would be more suited to him?
An R6 just looks uncomfortable from the start. Much prefer something along the lines of a CBF600
Now thats a nice bike: (http://www.motobiz.de/fotos/101.jpg)
Sporty but a decent riding position by the looks of it.

I can see the appeal of a bike for the thrill and speed, but I would never want one for day to day for the reasons mentioned above. Id rather spend more on a car and petrol to have something comfortable and more practical. If I want the wind in my hair I can just put the roof down after all :w00t:
-
Just realised an added bonus on the CBF600 I put there, it has a second seat :) Just right for some rather nice lady sized ass ;) :D
Aye clock, not getting it for speed though, at £1.03 a litre here, even a bike like that would get 40+ mpg... and my commute is a 60 mile round trip daily. Come the summer in the warmer weather, I too will be joining the motorbike crowd. :)
-
I always wanted to change my 600 Bandit for a sports bike, the top contender was an R6/R1. That was until i got to ride one in France. I swapped my bike for a few days with a friends R1 and it was awful. So uncomfortable - im 6ft3 and there just isnt room on them.
As for the OP, the legendary Ghost rider uppsala run is an unbelievable bit of footage. Since then ive found his DVDs pretty dull.
-
6ft 3, try looking at an aprillia mille :ptu:
-
Id really like a bike.... but I just know id end up killing myself on it :s
