Its all a matter of opinion, the best looking could be a Lancia Delta S4
I really like the Fiat 500 at the moment and you can get those for certainly below 10K.
Hell you might one day be able to get a Delorean for under 10k, but I doubt it ;) and they are great looking.
Theres also the RX7, now thats a great looking car.
Like i said at the start, all a matter of opinion :)

w00t vauxhall calibra.. sexy beast and itll leave u at least 7000 left to spend from 10k

Over here, Im a big fan of the Scion XA. Nothing special over there, we just dont get a lot of cute superminis stateside.

Nah j/k heard some bad things about reliability of the SD1s

A rear quarter view of the Volvo 480ES (http://www.antarctic-one.com/images/tekheads/volvo480es.JPG), very nice even from this angle and a good example should cost under £2K.
-
Yes, the 480 is a very nice car. Might still be able to get one for a few hundred down Whitley bay.
-
The Scion XA kinda looks like a good looking Suzuki Swift IMO
-
Just looks like an MPV tbh.
It looks a little like a Swift, but bigger of course.
-
lotus elise
4.0L tvr chimaera (5.0 is a possible but not low milage)
honda S2000 if you find a bargain, usually go around 12k. not the best looking but a damn fine car all round 8)
mega insurance costs tho, all group 20 afaik
-
I dont know why but I really like the last renault laguna. The 2.0 IDE model seems a bargain at £3-5000.
That and the Volvo S60 T5 tbh.

As an mr2 owner id actually agree with the RX7 post above, they are superb looking cars, probably better than the mr2 (all as standard) but tbh you can change the looks hugely with a decent set of alloys anyway.
I nearly bought one instead of my mr2 but was put off by the stories of rebuilds, rotor tip problems, and the nightmare economy.
The points about reliability in that report are true though, its my third year owning the mr2 in june and its not caused me a spot of bother once :D

Matt5cott, I love you.

That photo taken in the Birtley area for any chance? Recognise the bank..
