Cheaper Tyres?
on: August 22, 2008, 09:39:22 AM
Anyone know which website/tyre company is about the cheapest?

Im looking for a set of 205/50 16 treads for an Astra Coupe.

I dont need to know the relative benefits of F1s etc, if it was me driving it then I would be all over the Eagles or similar.  As it is its my father, hes an old fart and drives like one so cheapy tyres are fine.  Cheapest ie found atm is National with their own brands at £123.30 for 2.  Anyone know of anywhere better?  Black Circles has remarkably turned out to be a bit poor on this!

etyres.co.uk were pretty good for me last time.
I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

KwikFit can actually beat all their prices on the lower range stuff.  As said for decent tyres I would be just getting some F1s or similar, but my father really does drive like an old fart, so performance tyres are totally wasted on him.  He used to drive my old GTE on occasion, and he never took it over 75.
