Yeah, I'd say the Soarer, civic and elgrand. Love my elgrand, but it's just so thirsty, and people expect you to help them move stuff. They don't understand that it has car like suspension, so you can't load it up like a van.
When I decided I'd had enough of the Clio, Lynz was in bed with the flu. She knew I was going to look at a car, next thing she heard was typical subaru noises.
She was not impressed.

Nice thread, I like things like this.

I've had a few skodas including 2 octavias and love them. Built like tanks. Ive always had powerful TDI ones. That old SDI engine could ruin the experience of any car.

I'll try and figure out mine later, although its nothing exciting unfortunately.

DEViANCE:
2003-2004 = '89 Austin Metro
My 1st car, I loved it although it was rot box and hard to drive, I ruined it with miss guided modifications (I was 17) and the engine blew in the end. I still remember it being clawed away by the scrap man, sad times.

2004-2006 = '95 Rover 214
I became abit of an MG Rover fan boy for some reason, still have a soft spot for them. So this was my next car. Silky smooth and bouncy and comfy, one of my favourite cars I owned. Sold it and ended up buying it back a couple of years later once.

2006-2008 = 2005 MG ZS TD
This car was beautiful imo, shame about the diesel engine that dated back to the 80's and the build quality that came from a company that was about to go bankrupt. It had so many niggles and creeks and groans but wow could it get thrown around corners. I part ex'd it about a year later.

2007 = '94 Rover Metro 1.1
Bought cheap off cheap, I think really cheap, like sub £100 because it needed some welding. Was a great little run around 2nd car for a while, sold it on and made a bit of money.

2008-2011 = '00 Audi A4 2.5TDI
This car was awesome, so comfy and quick and built like a tank. I put over 100k miles on it, the fuel pump failed on it and I couldnt justify the £900 repair bill so it got sold as spares or repair on ebay.

2008 = '86 Rover SD1 2600
Another one of my silly ebay purchases, got it cheap and the only time I drove it was from where I picked it up in Blackburn to home as I got it MOT's and it was 90% rust.

2008-2009 = '94 Rover 100 GTA with a 160Bhp VVC engine fitted.
This was a little beast, it had its 75hp engine removed and a 160bhp engine from an MG TF fitted. it was sooo much fun and shocked many cars on the road. I sold it and the bloke who bought it messaged me a few weeks later saying he had crashed it :-(

2010 = '00 Rover 75 2.5 v6
Another cheap ebay purchase, it was a lovely silky smooth drive although I discovered the engine was using a lot of water. Head gasket had gone, a big job on these engines, I bit the bullet and spent £1100 on fixing it and it didnt work, the block was porus so was scrap. I stripped it and sold it for parts and actually got my money back as it was a top of the range model.

2010-2012 = '00 Renault Megane 1.9DCi
This was the best value car I've ever had. I bought it off ebay for £50, the owner had listed it as needing a new turbo. I went to pick it up re-attached the turbo hose that had popped off and drove it home  8) had it for a while and had no issues with it, it was a lovely pearlescent silver colour. Traded it in for an estate car when my wife got pregnant with our first child.

2012 - 2016 = 2005 Skoda Fabia estate 1.9TDI
We got this car when we found out we where having a baby, it was totally reliable a perfect size and we put over 100k mile on it and toured all over europe in it, great little car. Part ex'd it in for our next main car another Skoda.

2014 - '03 Rover 75 1.8
We got this car as a cheap tow car when we got into caravaning, we didnt think the Fabia was upto it, in hindsight it really was as we soon got rid of this and just used the Fabia.
Although it was a lovely car to drive, lots of gadgets and a comfy smooth drive. This was the last Rover I owned although I might do something stupid again soon.  :heehaw:

2016 - present = '08 Skoda Octavia 1.9TDI
We got this car not long after we had our 2nd child and found the fabia abit small. We bought it on 60k miles and its still sat outisde the house on 120k miles not needing anything other than normal service items. I use it as my workhorse car now as we got an new main car last year.

2018-2019 = 03 Skoda Octavia 1.9 TDI
Bought cheap off gumtree as a 2nd car run around, it was low miles and spotless on the surface, underneath it has been neglected and i think lived by the sea for while looking at the rust and it took a bit of work to get up to speed. Was a lovely drive though and top spec so all the gadgets. Sold it for a profit on facebook iirc.

2019 - Present = 2010 Ford S Max
Again we had to upsize on the arrive of another child, up to 3 now.
This is the most gadget filled car we've ever had and is lovely to drive with plenty of power, although with all those gadgets makes it complicated and its had it fair share of niggles.
It has a french engine which im not a fan of but Ive worked through and it issue free atm, touch wood.

Had a few motorbikes and vans along with all that aswell.

Next = Either a circa 2015 Merc E class estate or a Tesla Model X if I come into money from some unknown source  :cheers:
