sounds good that no belts have gone,
you should get more than a dribble, from the injector pipes, if the pressures low check filter and pump.
If its electrics your going to need a scanner or vagcom.

iv just dropped the key off at a garage down the road, they are going to tow it in and plug it in to their computer

edit: im thinking electrical tbh

aww :(

diagnosis, injector pump, they want £870+ VAT and fitting... im getting the car towed back

Get it repaired. Place local to me does rebuilds for about £100. There is most likely something simple wrong with it, but because they are sh*tty fitters and not mechanics, they dont know how to do anything other than to replace parts.

Do be aware that if you attempt to reinstall it yourself you will need to make sure it is correctly timed. Get the appropriate timing kit.

yeah i just had a read and realised itd have to be timed or it wouldnt run, £100 nice, apparently they are prone to a wire burning out in them, dunno need to get it off and looked at 1st

hmm my DIY skillz might fail here, need a VAG-COM to time it properly allegedly, might have to invest in one or wing it

effff iiiitttt i bought a VAG-COM.. gonna DIY it properly, and itll be handy in the future

gonna call around tomorrow for quotes on a refurb, can do cheaper for sure

the cable comes with the license, a dongle i believe, the software can be downloaded from the official site.

whats on ebay for £500 BIN?

lol yeah not far off.

my diag stuff is an ELM323 lead and Digimoto software, seems to cheapest way, not sure if it works on VAGs tho.
