But I actually go with the Ibiza 1.9TDi, good speed and good economy and also made by VW a little :)

i quite fancy that e class myself, id really like a 54 C220 Avantgarde but they are still too expensive

TBH if youre going n/a jap, get a frikkin twincam already :)

AE86 corolla, should be just in budget for a real klinker.

Is clinker really tidy or really scruffy?!

AE86 I imagine being hard to find a good one but would love one.

Have sliced the list down again as Ive decided Ill leave the coupés for now so got a choice of 3:

Toyota Yaris T-Sport
Seat Ibiza 1.6 Sport / 1.9 TDi Sport
Ford Focus 2.0 Zetec

apparently the t sport is meant to be a great drive, matt5cott had 1 as a courtesy car iirc, was singing its praises

i quite like the yaris T sport.. not driven one tho but seems a good solid car and fun i guess
