Whatever you do steer well clear of LDV sh*te! Our Students Guild at Aston has several LDV minibuses and they are all absolutely horrific to drive. Brakes? What brakes?! Even the new (57-plate) Maxus is utter crap, though considerably better than the Convoys.

go back 10 or 15 years and theyd have rust holes in them at one year old !

oh yea i drove a couple of pilots and they were a complete bag of nails even being only 1-2 years old

old LDVs are terrible, dont understand why so many got sold, Ive heard good things about the new Maxus tho.

Well the one weve got at uni blew its turbo at 7000 miles... plus its limited at 62 which is just where the turbo spools up so it keeps kicking the turbo in and out (which i think it what killed it). Its a step up from the Convoy for shizzle but not a patch on the equivalent Transit / Sprinter / Master.

we dont use them but our Milton Keynes depot was offered a BOGOF on LDVs just before the maxus came out, its deals like that that tempt companies to buy em, that and the buyer never  normally drives them
