No V5?
on: May 16, 2008, 21:27:19 PM
Bought my car in Jan, and the dealer said he would sort the V5 out (confused me as I hadn;t given him any of my info or signed it), and now i still havent received it.

Rang the DLVA and they said theyve havent received anything! and I have to pay £25 if I need a new one.

Rang the dealer (who is a complete cock) basically told me he sent it and to f**k off.

Anything I can do?

Im sick of talking to the arsehole dealer, took me months to get some money out of him when the CV failed the day after I bought it.

Oh, and that is blatantly a warranty job. My car I bought and the heater wasnt working cos the thermo was stuck. Took it to the dealer and they were like, dont you worry son. Leave it with up and after Ive finished mowing my nasal hair Ill fix that for ya. And they did. Then the fan belt was squeaking and I took it back and they was like, dude sorry man well fix that in 5 mins and they did.
I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

More fool you for buying the car without the V5!  Two things I wouldnt buy a car without are MOT certificate (or fail sheet), and the V5 (or V5C)

You should have got the new keepers slip part of the V5 and they should have send the rest off...
