But itd be the rest of the Pug Id be worried about.

The Volvo is alround a mighty automobile, its all solidly built not just the engines and there are Volvos that have done over a million miles.

Compare the number of XUD diesel carrying cars about still about compared to volvo 240s - can anyone spell GALVANISED ??

I dont think thats a fair comparison.

the XUD engine, if Im right was used by 2 manufacturers while the renault engines in the Volvos were only used in Volvos as far as Im aware.

Its also a space issue, Volvos, Id imagine have more. and engine size

But Id appreciate a list of cars you think we should look out for, which car would you buy.

Ill be saving up and I think at the end of Jan going to a local Auction or 2 to find one
