It certainly looks a lot nicer than the Tesla abomination, as well as seemingly practical. Is it intended to hit the European market though? Seems very much made for the US.

I saw a youtube review of these before with one of their demonstrators/show cars

looked really good.... £70k is a bit off putting.... tho I guess the range rover drivers etc. will be cool with that

the new Toyota Mirai looks lovely, Hydrogen power plant instead: https://blog.toyota.co.uk/new-mirai-toyota-to-preview-next-gen-hydrogen-car-at-tokyo-motor-show

Shame they haven't got the range bigger as there's simply not enough Hydrogen refuelling centres around (about 8 I think).

IMO Hydrogen fuel cars as above are the game changer, all these "clean" battery powered cars seem a scam encouraging more planned obsolescence with the "clean" batteries inevitably going crap.

Lithium ion batteries can and are recycled. There should be better options available in a few years anyway at the speed research is going into new electrical storage technology.

There is also the combination pack option of batteries plus a super capacitor pack, the batteries holding the main charge and the super capacitors acting as a buffer. That will mean less drain on the batteries during acceleration and the energy from decelerating can be stored.

Admittedly you also have the problem of environmental concerns when it is mined. It takes a lot of water for production and the results can pollute the environment.
