couple of semi finished pics

Picture of the second flexible section that I had to fabricate to give a bit of extra flex to the downpipe (And make it fit!!) - MIG welded this bit and sprayed with heatproof paint (Flexible section is mild steel). Also had to shorten the stainless B-pipe on my exhaust system. Also note the rear poly engine mount

Underneath the car view of the adapter plate I had to make (With 90 degree wastegate port and flange) to mount the turbo to the stock manifold

Engine bay from RHS - Wastegate obscured by inlet pipe

Engine bay from front LHS - note my welding on the dump valve on to the aluminium tube - my 3rd go at welding aluminium

Look at the size of that filter :) 35 cm long, 4 inch inlet

lol, noooo, you need something HUGE(er) !

tbh I quite like turbo lag now and again... driving along side someone, floor it, and just as they start pulling away, woooosh off you go :)

Im going to retard the exhaust cam a few more degrees to help with the lag, but it isnt too bad surprisingly!

The noise from the turbo and screamer pipe is fantastic. must do a video

Nowhere near as complicated :)

The flexible pipe comes in lengths, I just plasma cut the ends and welded them on to a cut length of pipe!

Okay firstly I will say, I do love the project and its nice to see someone doing the work them selves rather than throwing it into a garage, saying here are some parts fit them...

Im looking forward to the day you dump it on a dyno! Think this thing needs a visit up to Hamsterley Forest so me and Alan can come and drool. :)

Where did you get the pipeing from? Any specialist site?

provisionally booked on the dyno on Jan 19th, assuming I get it run in on time with this crappy weather
