10 v 11 for an hour. Who outclassed who?

Portugal.

Playing with a man down isnt the huge hardship some claim it to be, Ive seen it open up the field and tighten up the team more often than creating much of an empty spot on the field.

Yeah youre right mate, he was only the (allegedly) best striker England had left -whats an hour without one of the few players we got thatll run at people?

Portugal can hold their heads up high and say they never cheated, dived, bitched at the ref or rolled around on the floor looking for a fk. Best of luck to them :)
I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

We lambaste our players for not showing enough heart, then condemn them for getting sent off showing heart.

Nothing in life can be more contrary than being an England fan.

No, watching it in slow motion he deliberately stepped on his nuts.  Having said that, how was it not a freekick to England?  The 2 portuguese players were all over him, grabbing, pulling yet not a freekick.  Rooney is his own worse enemy.

Nice clip of Ronaldo putting his head into the back of Rooneys before kick off.  Almost a headbutt.  Looks like Ronaldo was not a popular member of the Man Utd team.  Ferdinand gave him a bit of a push and a mouthful himself after Ronaldo told the ref to send Rooney off.  Ronaldo is an underhanded player and a spoilt brat.  I dont see him being welcomed back to Man Utd, especially not by the fans.  Almost as if he wants to leave and join another club (Real Madrid perhaps?)

We could have nicked it and didnt.  The players did themselves proud with that 10 man display.  This time I dont think it was Scolari out thinking Sven, more the players were just better at converting penalties.

We did not have sufficient backup with enough strikers on the bench.  If only Defoe had gone.  Surprised me that they didnt just move Joe Cole into that role and save the sub for 5 minutes to see how it well it worked.   You cannot play long ball with Crouch, hes not good enough.

No surprise that Theo was not used at all.  What was he doing there?

We like to do it the hard way...

I thought he had a reasonably good match.  He had no choice but to send Rooney off in my opinion.  For the stamp or for the push.  You cant do that in Sepp Blatters Fifa now.
