Now, I think England are playing sh*te and being booed in their latest games had to hurt. Justified because their last game was a shocker and they got worse not better after the first but you also have...

- France playing utter sh*te
- Spain being very ropey
- Brazil not looking their normal selves
- Germany started well but just lost their latest game
- Italy looking ropey. They play New Zealand next and lost to them earlier in the year in a friendly so another shock could happen.


It has been mentioned a bit on the news here but you got teams with a lot of football stars playing average to crap but also looking very tired. These teams simply do not play enough as a team and ust about all these mentioned have not really had enough games together under their built in recent months if not for longer. All the players in the premeirship and EU countrys have had long seasons, Europe etc to play and maybe just have not a lot left in the tank.
The teams with shock wins or draws etc have been playing not fantastic footbal either but seem to have a bit more energy and seem to play as a team a bit better and getting these results and moreover frustrating the bigger teams.

These teams like France rightly deserve slagging off from us, do not get me wrong. England deserve to be booed but you kind of see a reason and they do have bigger and longer seasons. England Rugby is in this very issue.
The England Rugby team is:
1. Full of injured players
2. Full of players playing an insane amount of rugby from their division to EU matches etc. For what their boy goes through every week - It is a lot of games and their has been a lot of issues with the RFU and players etc in regard to this.
It is still a big talking point in England about this issue.


When you think about it this world cup is literally right after players finishing up their normal season. Has it been too soon? It is great to see lesser teams play well but from what I have seen this World Cup has been very lacklustre and the football un-inspiring.

Am I wrong here? Am I missing something?
I am thinking Argentina will win it at the moment.

New Zealand - Nobodies with only 25 professional players in the whole country. Only one of them gets over £50k a week.

New Zealand Out as well but they go out without loosing a game and just like France, Italy finish bottom of the group, lol.

The stats on things like goals conceded are quite interesting.  There have been 83 goals scored if this is up to date.

Whats with the German coach sending so much abuse through the media?  The only reason I can see that you would do that is to try to cast some doubt, they have quite a young inexpereanced team.

The German game is wide open.

England played in an easy group, but the teams sat back to defend & england could not break them down.
The Germans wont sit back, so it should be a good open game of attacking football.
