You have to know about cars though. I bought privately and it blew up. So then I bought new knowing I have a 10 year warranty.

I did it the sensible way...

£2,000 to spend went through the auto trader and picked up a decent Punto
£10,000 to spend went to Carcraft and bought a warranty with it
