Title: MAximum load for a Ford Escort Saloon (91-99)

Ive got an R reg 1.8Td Ford Escort and im trying to find out the maximum weight I can carry (so I dont overload it in France). I dont have a manual and Parkers (http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/specs/Detail.aspx?deriv=8308) dont list it.

Anyone know where I might find it?

On the chassis plate,
should have dgw, mtw and both axle weights.

The standard escort  55 van carrys 550KG the uprated 75 van being 750, so id guestimate the car will be same as the standard van at 550KG with full tank
