just worked it out.
us gallon = 3.8 litres. price here for diesel is 87p/litre so works out about £3.31 for us gallon, about $6.50 per us gallon.
I think:?

i spend over £30 per week on fuel, do about 350miles.

My Clio would get me to Liverpool and back with a 1/4 tank spare. While I think the tank is a bit smaller on the Mazda, I had to refill when I get there as I had used more than half the tank, a £40/£50 round trip in other words.

Definitely not worth ragging it again!

I got from Nashville to Seattle once in the early 90s for about $50 worth of fuel. :lol: Daihatsu 1.0L powah! :D

yep, a heavy foot really drinks the fule :(

my parents got to birmingham and back in my car on £45... it used to cost m £120+

(tho i did it a hell of a lot faster!)
