More scrap...
on: June 07, 2011, 00:58:10 AM
Few ropey blackberry pics from earlier when I was trying to put the smoke back in the wires (Thanks to the creative wiring evidenced in the final picture by an 'auto spark' as they like to be known)

All in all she is in good nick, just needs a wee bit of a tidy up in the interior, and the dodgy rewiring job fixed properly.

omfg.... almost bought one a few years ago... took a few for a test drive but couldn't find one that I thought was looked after well enough!

plenty of room under the bonnet for a nice V8 too (jag V12 might be a bit tight?) ;)

is it just because it's wet, or is the paintwork in really good condition ?

with a decent paint job, and a decent re-trim on the inside these really do look great :o

I don't get the appeal of these, I mean the body is nice I'm sure if that's your cup of tea, but are they are a particularly good underlying chassis or something?

I'd be thinking out of the box and dropping a Diesel lump in it, perhaps the first Reliant Scimitar GTE-BMWTD in the world, running on Chip Fat? :)

it's a fibreglass body, and the chassis of the later ones is galvanised (can;t remember what year it started off the top of my head)

3 litre essex V6

when they're nice and tidy, they do look really good.... even princess ann drove one back when they were new :o

Diesel is for girls and mincy men.

Get an Alfa v6 in it.

Jag V12 is a pile of dung though. LS1 V8 would be the best bet I reckon.

You should get one, they are SUPER cheap.

I thought the jag v12's were pretty bomb proof and easy to tune up a bit ?

or are they still slow (for what they are) after that ?

I'd buy one in a heartbeat if I had tome to work on it... or drive it :-(
