MOT Joints..
on:

Im really rather pissed off at the local place we get our MOTs done.
The calibra failed on:
Hazard warning switch (now replaced)
Headlamp aim, they can sort that next time.
Handbrake cable "nearside rear brake cable has wires broken and is significantly weakened"
Now i just spent my afternoon removing and fitting a new cable, a close examination of the old cable shows... no fault whatsoever! now im annoyed.. not just at my wasted time but at the cost as i dont have a job and need this car to get one sorted.. going to get a retest (yes having to pay for it) then get VOSA involved, they IMO are taking the piss.
Oh and does anyone know the rule on fuel and brake lines? mine have some surface corrosion as stated on the advisories, can i just rub them back and hammerite them? or will the fact that they are painted fail the car?
Cheers
