Have to say I dont like golf cabs full stop really.

Great idea for summer, but could you put up with it during the winter? - bet you it leaks at least a bit :p

and if you try to sell during the winter no doubt yd lose some cash.

from the boring /sensible / financial point: Id give it a big nay.

I think if you get a cab, you gotta get something that looks decent. Its gotta be a gay roadster really :p

I stuffed it into the back of a mates car

money pit, absolute money pit. but what a joy to drive, I mean   absolutely loved it. seriously good fun, it really did what a mazda mx is meant to do: be a driver centric car!

If you dont mind throwing thousands (quite literally) at a car then they are fine, but they are only 130bhp too, and absolutely torqueless.

i.e. Torqueless to the point where my 1.5 yaris only has ~7lb/ft less :P

hmmm overall I dunno if id recommend one. I certainly enjoyed ownership I really did, but it certainly came at quite a price, and there are faster cars out there for cheaper! - depends what you want though, I drove a few faster things but found them boring / less of a drivers car

Nay.

The only place I could see that driving is on a beach.  Possibly being washed away.

Grow up children. If you think a car is gay, its due to your own inadequacies. Might want to see a shrink and deal with it instead of acting out. ;)

Golf cabs are one of the safest little cars on the road. Buddy of mine just got hit by an 18 wheeler in his, and though he flipped a few times, walked away. Can you say "roll bar"?

Hes a biker for the most part with a grizzled grey beard. I cant wait to tell him about yalls stupid little hang-ups, hell laugh mightily about it.

Not that bad in the winter at all, just check the condition and seals on the top.

Double check the electrics as well, sometimes they can be flakey.
