Title: Parrot Car Kits
Post by: Cypher on March 21, 2008, 17:31:37 PM
Im interested in either an MK6000 or MK6100 for my car.  Ive been to halfords hoping I can actually try it out but they cant/wont demonstrate it.  That and its over priced imo.

Does anyone know any inpendant or chain car audio specialist that would have it out for demonstration in the coventry & warwickshire area?

when i was looking into it i found it cheaper (or not much dearer) too buy a blutooth head unit instead of just the parrot thing.

got a pretty smart Clarion one off ebay, for about £100.

Ive allready got a bluetooth head unit.  A sony BT-5000 or whatever it is called.  That was in my old car for a about a year.  It worked great.  Ive still got it mind, I havent sold it yet.

However my new car is only 5 years old and Id rather not take out what is a very good factory head unit and leave it looking a bit bodged.  Id much rather have a kit put in.
