Its the only part of Ford that was profitable but it didnt bring in the most revenue.

I think Ford are hoping to put the money into making their other marques that do bring in lots of revenue (i.e. the main Ford marque and probably Jaguar) more profitable.

This is good. Aston are on a winning streak at the minute but poor Jag had to suffer being the ugly sister in the Ford premium group. This should mean Jag get to cut loose a little now and well see the likes of the aborted XKRR make it to fruition this time round.

Meanwhile, Prodrives serious knowhow will likely tweak the Astons not bad handling to stunning levels, making them a serious player in the supercar crowd for performance as well as bespoke beauty.

If only they could have picked up TVR with their spare change while they were at it.
It's all fun and games until a 200' robot dinosaur shows up and trashes Neo-Tokyo… Again.
