and the GTO (3000GT) has electronic controlled suspension that cuts roll and allsorts of other things by adjusting the dampers as you drive.

The GTO also has active aerodynamics..  get up to speed the a front lip & rear spoiler come into play :)

Lighter than the likes of a 911 (Which has legendary cornering ability)
Lighter than a skyline, supra, 3000GTO, 300ZX, etc etc etc all of wich corner well.

None of them have active roll control, and therefore none can do 0.98g on road tyres.

the 911 is also rear engined so completely different?

You never mentioned engine layout, you said weight - if anything rear engine is worse for grip. The 3000 GT still doesnt have active roll control.

The 3000GT is a much better car in every respect (Except it cant do 0.98g on road tyres) The ones we look after have horrid interiors though - the 300ZX has a much nicer interior.
