what is the strategy behind that? ATI is an established brandname, itll cost a fortune to rebrand and get everyone clued up... seems pointless.

The stickers you see on the front of cases in places like PCWorld with "Intel inside" and "ATI Graphics" will be "Intel inside" with "AMD Graphics" that would be worth it just to piss Intel off  :D
