No way Revolution was a great name this is just well crap no beyond crap.

Nintendo should have known how crap it would sound in English and that people are just going to take the piss out of it. (pun intended :P)

Apparently it was decided on by a committee within Nintendo.  Not an external marketing company.

You know what they say about things made by Committee?  It seems it applies to names as well.

They should have left it as Revolution in the English speaking countries like when they renamed the Famicom to just NES.
