HAVE YOU SEEN THE EVIL DEAD TRAILER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I CANNOT WAIT!

Not at all bothered about any garbage Peter Jackson makes.  He could make a loony toons episode last 4 hours with absolutely nothing happening.

Just saw this.  And I can say is :

is the new evil dead daft like the old ones were ?  or more of a horror film on it's own?

It's a film in it's own right.  It has some funny bits, but not laugh out loud funny.
It's pretty serious, and plays homage to the original 1 and 2.

The reviews are pretty crap for it to be honest, but really they don't understand.  They are trying to compare it to Evil Dead 2, forgetting that Evil Dead was a pretty serious horror film, one of the first video nasties.

I was listening in on a conversation 2 female students were having about it. They were/are too young to have watched the original evil dead films, including reruns on TV now. The girl who has seen it said the trailer gives a different impression to the film than how the film actually feels. Then they promptly talked about tree-rape.
