More Ubuntu
on: March 13, 2009, 00:41:38 AM
I have been trying out Ubuntu 8.10 and I am impressed ! Installs faster than XP no need to find drivers after install.

Installed wine and ran spotify with no problems. Wow worked but it was "jumpy". Installed it in my sons AMD  X2 5200+ using 40 out of 500GB as a backup for next time XP f**ks up. Quite easy to edit GRUB so XP is default using sudo -e :)

Its better to start from fresh though for the best performance.
