Imagine how many posts and views I would get if I said, free trekky tickets  :mutley:

Only joking trekkies   -)

As the said purchaser of the said board, I would say..................you were robbed, didnt you know there are much better boards in the market, LOL, only joking,,,, again  :nana:

IP35 Pro  :mutley:s Nutleys

All you lot have to do is get Tekheads listing a full range of Abit and there is a goody bag for each of you but dont expect more than a t-shirt and a pen and you might just be surprised   -)

Regards

The problem is Abit boards are to well built.. My bro is still running a KR7A-133 i built for him years ago, his mate an NF7S, and another family member a KT7A, me personally im a little behind the times with my KN9S.  No need to persuade me, im already an Abit fan :)

But i think you need to go hassle Kris, offer him some Trekky tickets and Bag with T Shirt and Pen and maybe they will stock the full line of motherboards  :w00t:

OK, Ive owned an Intel PII-450 system on a Abit BH6, AMD Athlon XP1900 on a Abit KR7A-RAID and an Intel P4 2.4C system on an Abit IC7-RAID.

With the exception of the last system I built (Intel MATX motherboard for HTPC) and my server (Dual AMD K8 on a Tyan) Id say Ive been pretty loyal and happy with Abit.

Im looking to build a new system soon on an Intel P45 board. So far Ive been leaning towards Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS5 and DQ6.

Id like to consider an Abit but Im a bit worried as Ive read you guys are thinking about getting out the motherboard market.

What will that mean for me in terms of support commitment and general dedication to releasing an awesome product?

What details do you have for Abits upcoming P45 boards, and how competitively priced will they be against the likes of Gigabyte?

Radeon 4000 series GFX cards?  And potential (ballpark) pricing?  Ive been trying to hunt some price info down about price.  4850 or 4870 is what im looking for.

Man!!!, you need a change, dont you know, variety is the spice of life  :heehaw:,,,the Gigabyte board is very good! JOKE, dont you dare.

I have just posted on the IP45 Pro....http://www.tekforum.co.uk/posts/list/12757.page

Expect it to be available 1st week of July.

They were just rumours, we were prominent at Computext with a range of 38 boards, 12 of which are new, we were quick to reply to the rumours, Hexus, OC workbench, Clunk and more,,, in fact we contacted Digitimes before they went to press with it informing them it wasnt true but they decided to continue with it anyway.

I left Gigabyte around 2 months ago after 2.5 years there to join Abit, so there is no choice just a decision on if you will buy the IP45 or the IP45 Pro  :nana:

I will get pricing over in the next few days

Abit may be venturing into the GFX card market soon, so I might be able to at some point but at this time I am sticking to what I have got......motherboards   -)

see, this is what causes me issues on a major upgrade, because i normally buy the same brand GFX card as motherboard.
