You will see a lot more tie ins with marvel characters soon as the rumours are rife as to a new Avengers movie with the likes of Iron man, Hulk, Captain America etc this is why Mr Samuel L Jackson shows on the end of the credits in Iron Man with S.H.I.E.L.D. :)

The Avengers movie has been confirmed, it isnt just a rumour. It will feature Iron Man, Hulk, Thor and Captain America initially. They are looking at introducing more of the lesser known superheroes in Iron Man 2 and developing their backstories out with their own films if they prove popular, such as Thor (who may show up in far more than just a cameo role helping out Iron Man and Nick Fury), War Machine (obvious from Jim Rhodes comments in the first film), Hawkeye and Black Widow.

If youre off to watch the Hulk film look out for the hints to Captain America as well. I wont spoil too much but if youre a comic book fan youll certainly notice references to a certain serum, and you might even spot "Cap" himself. (Incidentally did anyone spot Caps mighty shield on one of Tony Starks workbenches in Iron Man? Look closely when hes just returned from his tussle with the F/A-22s when hes bickering with JARVIS about removing the armour when Pepper Potts walks in.)

And on the other end you have The Justice league and them trying to get Bale as batman which I think is half set, Whatsit from the superman movie after filming the second movie which again I believe is half agreed on along with new characters representing the Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern and some others maybe wonder women depending on where that movies is going.

Yeah I noticed it the shield references and I dont think war machine could have its own movie as it was only a limited 12 issue series when it was first launched. Didnt realise it was set in stone now so we will see how this pans out :)

Looking forward to the Dark Knight with Batman but as to the Justice League I can see that flopping so bad, DCs last Superman movie was a joke, utter toss it was. As for a Green Lantern movie that could work out quite well :)

He admitted to it being slow but He said he wanted to faithfully bring back the superman characters from the previous movies rather then just jumping in with random action as it was always more then 2 movies planned series and so he had to set the scene and re-introduce the characters and the story which ended up taking up a whole movie. I see the sense in it but produced a dull movie in the end. He has promised for a more impact feel now on as the characters have been set in.

I quite liked the new Superman movie. Admittedly it wasnt anywhere near as good as Batman or the more recent Marvel offerings but it was certainly better than Spiderman, what a piss poor series that has been.

Problem with Spiderman/X-Men is that they tried to cram to many of the well known villians and stories in to a trilogy. Both characters could of had far more than three movies each and made them greats instead of alright action movies to waste time watching

you liked the new superman film ?

it was an "ok" film.... but compared to all the other superman films, and its potential it sucked !!!

where was the historic fight between good and evil ?

there was no real plot to it... just a short sequence of events.... if it wasnt for all the superman films before it, no-one would have watched it, or given a toss that he nearly dies etc...

it gets negative woots tbh.

The problem with Spiderman is Tobey Maguire being a crap actor and whining like a little emo bitch all the time.

Not just that but it was a complete copy of superman 1, including some dialogue! And Superman was not a hero, he was a angst ridden teen. Pathetic.

Superman was rubbish! We had superman with kryptonite stuck him then the kryptonite pulled out of him then almost straight away goes and lifts an island made of the stuff... okay.....

Meh I liked it. But then again I think I liked spiderman for the same reason...it was great to watch the superhero get the crap beaten out of them!

Watched Incredible Hulk earlier. Not as good as Iron Man but then I didnt expect it to be and it was still a good movie.

They explain how Banner becomes the Hulk in the first 5-10mins via a montage and then pretty much get straight into the story and, shortly after that, the action.

Obviously this film is a hell of a lot better than that pile of garbage Hulk film they released a few years ago.

Watched hulk last night. Agreed not as good as Iron man but still enjoyed it very much!

My g/f enjoyed it aswell. Enough for non-comic book fans but they also give a lot to the comic book fans.
