Off topic, I admit, but Tribes is brilliant fun. Spent a good hour just now jumping around like a nutjob and its brilliant fun.

Very different to Day-Z but it captures the feels of the old Tribes very well. One question, though, can you only buy gold? As in you cant earn it, right?

Gold can only be purchased (except for the 250 you get free for posting on facebook) but there is nothing except XP booster that can't be gotten for in game currency which is earned each match.

Oh also if your playing a lot I would recommend spending the £6.99 for the lowest gold pack just to become a VIP as it gives you a 2x bonus to XP forever (plus 800 gold to quickly grab a couple items for fave class).

I did it the once just because £7 towards a game I was playing for so many hours is f**k all (compared to a £35 purchase price) and now have unlocked more or less everything I want for the classes I play just from playing the game.
