Frankly ever since codemasters and bohemia interactive split after making Operation Flashpoint, neither has been able to make a decent sequel.
BI make a game that's too hard and complicated with a few bugs, and codemasters make a game that's too easy and pretty simple. There will never be that happy medium that Operation Flashpoint was. Which is a massive shame cause Operation Flashpoint is one of my most favourite games of all time, along with the original Deus Ex.
