PC Build/Buy Help
on: October 18, 2011, 23:51:52 PM
Hey Guys, need some help here again pc build.

Looking to get this now:
http://www.playtech.co.nz/afawcs0139235/CATID=54/ID=15277/SID=705887019/productdetails.html
Customise wise I chosen..

8gb memory, Intel Core i5 2500K Unlocked Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz 6MB Cache Quad-Core Processor [add $60], Single NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1GB GDDR5 - DX11 / 3D Vision / PhysX Ready [add $130] as Extras.

Now I can go to http://www.pbtech.co.nz/ website and add all the same products but with a better case and better Cooler (H80) for under 2k but the hassle to do it yourself is a pain.
Just wondering what you guys think, options, build etc.
I have asked them a few questions, what they can do as the CPU increase options are not equal to actual current CPU costs on their own site and if they can reduce the cost without the CPU as I got a 1k one here that will do very nicely.

The parts are looking good, but build it yourself! ;)

So long as you get a decent case with a removable mobo tray and a good cooler like a Noctua (which are very easy to fit)  a lot of the hassle of putting a computer together is gone tbh, the most fiddly bit is connecting  the power and reset buttons.

No SSD? ...In such a system you really do want a SSD tbh
