which psu ?

which psu would power  2x 3870x2s without problem ? , so it needs to have 2x 6pin and 2x 8pin pci-e power plugs

The corsair are meant to be awesome PSUs.

The 650w will do the job but if you can afford to I would get to 750w

specs on the sapphire website say for 2 of the 3870x2s a min of 750w , never had a corsair psu what are they like ? . whats the rma like if its needed

One of the best PSUs for the money, service/support is good to, they are in constant talks with the members of Hexus forums as well, they have a subforum for the company.

The PSUs can apparently do more than the ratings, i have a VX550 with a single slot card, ill be updating to maybe a 4870x2 and this psu will still be more than enough guts.

If I was getting a pair of X2 graphics cards the last thing I would skimp on is the PSU. I would go for at least a 750 watt one, preferably with some spare wattage. Hiper M1000 1000WATT 80 Plus has a 5 year warranty and plenty of spare capacity for those extra components or upgrades.

And for the record Id normally be suggesting the cheapo gold one :D

so get a psu thats over 800w and a good brand is what your saying ? , only got  £100-£120 atm lol
