Got very lucky !

I really didnt feel like bothering with the midnight launch, so I decided to leave it until this morning and get to Sainsburys for 7am...

However at 6:30 it was too cold and dark, so I decided to stay in bed. I finally got to the "big" Sainsburys at 10:00 and yeap, they were sold out, from 7am !!

So I had to go into town to GameStation for my pre-order :(
On the way down the escalator I noticed, out of the corner of my eye, a MW2 cut-out in our "little" Sainsburys (in town). I mooched in and they had 4 copies left :D

Got the hardened edition last night, played a bit of the single player campaign then got bored as its just more of the same and ended up on Call of Duty Classic. I am spending more time on a remake of the original CoD than I am on MW2 xD.

Surely your not bored of the Biggest Selling Game of All Time, already? :P

I think it could just be the fun of the original CoD coming back and taking hold. MW2 will be played tonight and probably finished if there is only 4 - 5 hours of gameplay in it.

Over an hour later.

Manual says it only needs to initially authenticate online then you can play offline.  Why is it now saying the servers are busy?

Also, why is Disc 2 blank?

Not having a great MW2 experience, so far...  :disappointed:

Think thats bad?

Dawn of War 2 requires a Games for Windows live account as well as a steam account.

At least on the plus side when I installed win 7 as Id registered DoWII on Steam it showed in the games list, meaning if I ever lose the DVD I can still install it.

It seemed to have stopped downloading so I assumed it was just downloading an update but Ive just been reading on Steams forums that it has to download the entire game.  So wtf are the TWO DVDs for?

Seriously pissed...

Where can I d/l a pirate/offline version?  Ive paid for it anyway.  This sucks balls.

Thanks. :)

This is weird.  If you click on Reinstall, it installs from disc this time instead of a mahoosive download.  Or at least it looks like thats what its doing.  Certainly didnt see this on first install.

What a crap roll-out.
