Thanks. :)

This is weird.  If you click on Reinstall, it installs from disc this time instead of a mahoosive download.  Or at least it looks like thats what its doing.  Certainly didnt see this on first install.

Scrub that - disc two fails to read.

Wank.

Refund on the way.

Do not buy.

Do not know what is going on with you Eagle but Mine installed it only downloaded a small update which has been noted by others.
Took 30/40 mins and read both discs. With steam disc purchases if it has issues reading off the discs the system will download the required files though. I guess your disc was f**ked up and it just downloaded it all or tried to instead?

I been playing it last night and enjoying it. Very good level designs and I have everything on high. Not having the setup in the main menu is bloody odd though.

My biggest issue at the moment?

Lean! Why the f**k did they take this out? I use it all the time. To peak and then go shoot is essential. With the fact on how they designed some of the levels this seems to be a give. I am finding myself break cover to see whats what and being hit to then duck back and then go shoot. They give you a bit more health as it were so you can take more hits but this change seems daft. I am playing it on hard.
NZ only gave this 15 and considering the airport mission I did I was suprised.

SPOILER ALERT:

Code: [Select]
Coming out of the lift and then the people with you starting to shoot civilians I did nothing for a bit, I did not know what to do. your CIA so you should not shoot people? I then started popping off dying people so they did not suffer but soon as the police showed up I was all out to stay alive. I think next time I will gun down everything as well. That was a pretty cool level tbh. Hard out though.

Literally took 10 minutes for mine to install and that was at midnight on release day. I also think the only bit it checked with Steam was if the Game authentic and then it just installed off the DVDs. A few people seem to be having this issue and I noticed a post saying the new steam update is needed to get it installing. I think this update was released in the early hours of this morning.

Im on PS3, and the online servers for MW2 have been down all day!!! Not happy!!! So have played and completed the campaign today!! Hope its back tomorrow.

Oh and if any one has completed it, go back in to it and select mission then choose museum, kinda pointless but cool at the same time. give it a try.

With the MSN links and what you have said on the forums, you have mate :P
I can tell you the multiplayer is really good and fun. It is not a battlefield type of affair, it is different and these short low number games I am not normally a fan of but I like, and it looks good.

Battlefield 3 is coming, that is going to have the whole bells and whistles and that is supposed to support 64 on 64.
