Agreed, Resistance and Killzone are good.
Found MGS boring.
Time Crisis is a laugh, but it can be costly if you cant find a second gun.

I just loved the visuals and the feel of the game and having played MGS since the 1st, the cutscenes did not bore me as Im sure they may have bored others. Im just pleased they can be skipped for future plays! The thrill of sneaking up behind an enemy for the kill I love, aswell as the almost impossible challenge of getting through the entire game without alerting the enemy.

I look at MGS5 as an art game. Hideo Kojima (the brains behind the series if my memory serves me correctly) is a perfectionist and it has been shown in every MGS title to date.

Not for everyone, I will agree, but MGS4 still has me playing it every now and again. Definitely worth a few squid in todays market.   -)

I think the XMB is better than the current revision of the Xbox dashboard.
The old blades one was better than all though, imo.

Dead nation is good, as is PAIN.

Not wanting to stray back OT too much again, but I think XMB is great, well structured/organised and even looks decidedly slick. I havent really paid much attention to the Xbox dash whenever Ive used it but its obviously geared more towards your profile and such whereas PS3 has the home entertainment side with iplayer, TV, BD playback, they are different breeds of machine though and have different menu requirements IMO. Ill be trying out the BD playback for the first time this weekend, exciting stuff for me!

I was going to add Time Crisis to my original list but then realised you would need the gun.

Ive bought Uncharted 2 second hand and I think Ill be alternating between that and GT5 for a while. So what future exclusives are due out that we know of other than Killzone 3 and LBP2? I think there might be a new Dead Nation game coming as well.

And most importantly can stream good quality content straight over a wireless connection... at least it can now Ive got rid of the crappy talk-talk router and replaced that with something sensible.
"Within your 'purview'? Where do you think you are, some f**king regency costume drama? This is a government department, not some f**king Jane f**king Austen novel!"

I cant get the bastard to stream reliably over a cable from my NAS, never mind wireless.  This is where the 360 excels, It downloads the file while you play as opposed to just getting as much as you need.

Forgot to add the Motorstorm series, theyre always good for a laugh.

I can stream anything up to 720p over wifi from my PC using PS3 Media Server, no sweat, but sadly wifi is just not good enough for 1080p, it starts okay with some films but eventually leads to stuttering at complex scenes.
