lol this game rocks. I find providing that my housemates dont use gay tactics of having a base in my base, I can as scrin... pretty much own anything.

Concentrate on building storm towers to provide coverage for your base, get a rift generator up inside of 5 minutes, and then deploy ionstorming planetary assault carriers around your base to provide defence. Take 20 of them... and walk them forward, They each carry 10 fighters I believe... thats 200 fighters, and the possibility of parking 20 ion storms over a base. Opposition will get lots of kills, but with the forcefields in play. You will end up successful. Use rift generator on large groups of high power units after pulling your units away.

Could even call in a mother ship and just use the 200 fighters and ion storms to remove any anti air... and the mothership to destroy the buildings. :D

To put things into perspective, I went up against a man with sh*tloads of jugganaughts, and twice as many mammoth tanks. Destroyed his entire offensive force, and his entire base within the 30 seconds I had left before he could fire his ion cannon.... he was on the otherside of the map. :D

Wooo... working my way through the game now :) Failed to attain every objective or intel report... but to be honest im completing it then Ill go do it properly :D

Im up to about the same point in each campaign.

Nod: Im on the mission where you need to take control and secure the 4 enemy MCVs... tried various tactics...

Taken over 1 base.. then realised that the visitors were destroying the northern base.

Taken over all 4 bases simultaneously... ended up owned.

Taken over GDI on their own... Taken over Scrin on thier own, and neither tactic worked.

How in the crap do you do that mission!?

GDI... Ive just started the whole tacitus/visitor thing but had to call it a night last night, not stuck on that one so far.

I compleated the GDI campain started the NOD one and got bored of it.
Tbh I didnt find that I wanted to keep playing it like Red alert 2.

well christ.. the GDI campaign is buggy as hell.

Launched the liquid tiberium bomb right at the beginning as a last ditch thing, thinking it would BOOM everything. Was a fart... so restarted said mission as I had 1 power station left :D... Then didnt use bomb. Used ion cannon and rift generator.

And I got the ending saying that I caused millions to die. :\ wtf.

Other news: I took on a brutal and won. No handicap. Just did the "unfair advantage" map and started with a high resource count.

Created a wall of sonic towers and AA guns all around the bottom of my base. Then used Radar scan and ion cannon and shockwave artillery along with 50 firehawks to bomb things :D Wasnt too difficult. Keeping the bloody pesky bastard snipers away from my sonic towers was a pain though, bloody jugganaughts.
