Runs just fine on full settings at 16xx by 10xx WS.

Supreme Commander fell over at those settings on my comp.

tbh they did that with c&c generals, the demo you could not zoom out but the live one you could, odd approach

Playing it quite happily with everything maxed. Its a really good game, feels just like classic C&C.

no you can zoom out, except it starts off fully zoomed out for C&C3,
im used to supreme commander now and not being able to zoom out and see the entire map feels like a step backwards

I found the same. Its a nice game but I really like being able to zoom right out and see everything.

Im sure the story will be better than Supreme commander but I dont think the skirmish will be as good.

Had a quick spin with it, On a P4 3.2, 2gb RAM and a 128Mb 6600GT it flies along at 1280x1024 without a complaint.  Me Likes, i was worried i would have to rush my upgrade!

Edit : also quickly tested on the CeleronD 2.66, 1Gb with 256Mb ATi 9550.  It still runs a treat, though i did have to turn some of the effects down.   Whatever they did to it im assuming they spent some time refining the code.

to be honest its lucky it came out after supcom, people are so happy they can turn a game upto full everything (even if it doesnt look that great and deosnt even live upto the screenshots or supcom) they are happy saying "Thank god producers are being realistic with their specs!"

Ok they released screenshots that dont look as good as the highest settings will go and ok they look slightly older because newer shinyer stuff as come up but ITS OK BECAUSE IT RUNS WELL?!?!?! wtf? Ok supcom runs like a bitch on 4v4 on 80km maps but there is a reason for that... It looks great and everything (i mean EVERYTHING is real time) how can you compare that to something that is slightly shiny (hazy is most peoples view) scripted and so small in comparison :P

thing is, at 1024x768 i found SC was coughing on my P4, it didn;t look as good as C&C3 does because i hard to turn things down.  I would prefer something that isnt a pretty overall if i can make it run better for me.

Runs on my ageing 2500+ Barton very well during the demo. Only tried it at 1024*768 as yet but I might be able to push that up a bit.

[edit] Works at 1280*1024 on the skirmish level supplied. Might be able to push it to 1600*1200 if I was lucky :) [/edit]

It does run at 1600*1200 :)
