Hello All,

Just thought Id clear up the situation, we do not rebill for any hosting accounts automatically it is done via WorldPay.

Most customers will cancel their automatic rebilling namely called FuturePay Agreement which is the agreement between the customer and worldpay to rebill for services automatically until the agreement is cancelled.

As for the support, hosting etc we are unable to cover our costs hence we have cut back drastically and currently is in a sustainable state again.

You can contact WorldPay on: 0870 366 1233 to cancel the agreement or you can login to WorldPay directly and cancel the agreement.

If you have been billed incorrectly please email: crocket

Refunds will be issued within 14 working days however may be delayed dependant of my workload.

We WILL be working with WorldPay ASAP to cancel all agreements so rebilling does not occur unless you specifically re-input your card details to renew service.

For any customers who are with us and have submitted renewals service will continue as normal.

Regards,
Nitesh

** Please also email the above address if you require domain releases etc

Hmm, sounds like balls to me.

Contact each customer individually and beg forgiveness, otherwise youre f**ked. Sorry for the language but its word of mouth that made you, and its word of mouth that will screw you.

Edit - Was just thinking, what happened if MS said tommorow screw you all lol. Theyd get away with millions of pounds, only 1/3 of which would be recovered. Bill would be lolling.

Cmon bedroom hosts, prove you have the balls.

(Damn Im feeling agressive tonight).

Mr White Giant,

Bedroom hosts, would one really be Limited and be VAT registered?

Get your facts straight.

How can you compare Microsoft and one company which is not even 10,000 of the size in turnover!

TBH, not up for discussion if your not a customer, and your not according to our records, you dont require a refund so why post and ruin it for our customers?

Read up the thread, it would appear from various comments that YOU ruined it for your customers, not Paddy.

Only requires £89 last time I checked for VAT registering. All of the staff doing sales in my previous company were all VAT registered. Even have companies out there that will be your nominated secretary.

In fact its piss to become a vat registered ltd company. All you need is an accountant, and a few names/addresses.

Lets go over some comments on your hosting anyway.

The security of those servers is laughable.
The uptime is also laughable.
"We are unable to cover our costs" - Organisation... laughable.
The way you have treated your customers - not laughable, just downright inexcusable.

Wonder if theyll be getting interest paid back on their wrongly taken funds in line with some percentage above the base rate, calculated daily. Probably not, but they should.

Final mark of unprofessionalism: Your website, has not worked correctly since you created the company.

In crockets defense, what do you all expect for £2/year?

Was £15 as far as I was aware. If a company is unable to offer the service at the prices offered then he should never have advertised it as a false promise.

We didnt choose the payment structure of his company. He did. So I fail to see how thats possibly any defence for him.

It doesnt matter how much or how little the service is, repeat billing and ignoring cancellation requests is out of order.

Thats just not right. All other subscription accounts I have that use a 3rd party payment system on the net, you cancel through the service you use, or at least, the service you use has an option for cancellation that takes you to the correct payment page to make that change. I wasnt even aware my account hadnt bee cancelled, even though I asked a long long time ago, until I got billed just now. Its only £10, but being an unemployed student, thats a lot. Especially as MS has decided to shaft me out of an extra £40 for no reason. needless to say, thats being disputed, and so will the £10 unless something can be done.

To crockets credit I have never just had a payment sucked from my account and there has been a time when I owed him six months and he still didnt cut me loose.

There has been a bit of a problem with down time, but you cant always guarantee your server will be functional with b*stads trying to hack in regularly. Software and updates means that it will go down sometime and if everything goes at once there will be a delay in getting it back up again.

Nope, their service this last year and a bit hasnt been anywhere near what it should be, but there were reasons, and I can understand them, even if they shouldnt have happened.

It is very difficult operating on a very marginal profit.
