Seeing Feeder at the NEC Arena on Saturday. Allways fantastic live. Their sound suits arenas imo, though seeing them at the BHam academey was cool.
Well, to put into one word, I cant really, stunning, perhaps.
I didnt expect a better gig that the first time I saw them in 2003 at the NIA. But the atmosphere just made it something special. There must have been at least 4 songs where people in seating were lighting their phones up without the band ever needing to encourage us, which they usually do.
I fell like Ive lost half a stone in sweat, first time Ive been up in the front of the standing in arena, quite an experiance damn good though. :-)
I still find it a shame that some of the yonger fans dont know the lyrics to the early material except for Buck Rogers and Just A Day.
I strongly believe now that small arenas suit Feeder best. As long as they keep touring I will keep seeing them tbh.
2 Videos, though they do them no justice.
