I've got a second hand gtx 980ti on the way - these seem to have decent memory bandwidth and also I can potentially sell on for minimal loss in a few months if I decide to grab a 1080ti when released.
I was thinking about the following components - PC is mainly for deep learning coursework for uni initially but would be nice to play a few games in the summer after exams - any thoughts, this was partly based on a hackintosh guide as it might be cool to build one later on though initially will just be running ubuntu
