As a film fan and not a reader, I dont really care so much about true adaptations as long as films are executed well - I dont think Conan ever claimed to be one either. It would be easy to pick fault with the X-Men films for that, but the films are good without having to stick 100% true to the comics.

I totally agree. I think its a bit sad when comic / book fans complain that a movie isnt "true" to the source. A movie is different medium, its going to be changed and adapted. Enjoy it for what it is, not what it might be.

Wolverine was not terrible, Not good but you can see why they did it first, Money and box office stuff. With Magnito Growing up in World War 2 and the how he was good, friends with Xavier and then went off the beaten track is a good story. It needs to be dark, really gritty and really not hide from the war. Make it part of the movie, the camps and what the Germans did with him after he bent the gate etc.

I think movies like Conan and He-man Could work if they focus on script and look and feel. I think these movies become surprise hits when they hire unknown actors so they do not spend all their cash just getting well known actors so their budget can be spent on other things.

One movie I forgot to mention is Red Sonia which is starting Rose Mcgowen.

I also really dont care how accurate comic book interpretations are, because that is what is when it comes down to it, someones Interpretation.

If Transfomers was done with size to size animations not done, it would just been a tad more rediculous in a live action movie.

Personally all I want from 2010 is my Zombie Comedy fix.

I watched the zombieland trailer thinking SOTD rip off, but as it went I thought, meh, it looks quite cool. I hate zombies though, they freak me out :(

Mind you I have been waiting for Worst Case Scenario for blooming ages:
