Been tinkering with my 360s today.
Both have now had X-Clamp replacements, (first one got it because it RRODd, and the second because it seemed a good idea)
AS5 under both heatsinks, memory heatsinks added, Fan shroud mod and Talismoon fans.
Both had the metal grills removed, but left the plastic one in place.

Temps should be lower now, volume is down and my grin is up at both ends.

Going to swap out the DVD drive from my XBL machine, buy another samsung and put the PCB in a new DVD chassis.  The spindle tends to grind and scratch my DVDs.  It is a release console so cant be too hard on it.
