Anyone familiar with drupal and its taxonomy stuff?
on: March 11, 2010, 11:24:24 AM
Basically Ive been working on my microphotography site using drupal and the category module. The problem is Im left wondering if this is the best thing to use!

The method for entering new things seems a bit clunky, and synonyms arent searchable which is a pain. However I couldnt quite get my head around the taxonomy stuff at the start which is why I used this. I was wondering if anyone has used drupal and the taxonomy module, and can tell me whether it would indeed be better for my site than the category module: http://www.microphoto.co.uk/category/taxonomic-directory/phylum-arthropoda/class-insecta/order-coleoptera - this is an example of the structure. It is extremely hierarchal.
