Finally got ME back from my siss boyfriend today. it appears I loaned it to him on my 2nd play through just after I had pretty much been to all the side planets and just had the core planets left. Just hit level 57, have about 52k ex and from what I can see on the internet you need about 82k to get to 60. Not sure whether itll be doable in playthrough 2!

You need something like 120k for 59-60.

I had lvl 58 with Iios & Citadel under attack left and didnt even get 1/2 a level from it. 59-60 will take a whole indepth play through or 2 shorter plays.

Down here in Bristol I havent got my 360 so Im not going to get to 60 before ME2 is out. Depending on what you get depends if I finish that last 59-60 stint while ME2 is sitting unplayed next to me or not :P

Hmm, I managed to get 57-58 in about 3 hours and only 2 of the core worlds.

Ive also read that most people can get to 60 by doing 2 playthroughs so long as they go for doing all side quests etc. I certainly think that at this rate if I dont get to 60 this playthrough, I will early on on a 3rd...Little things like always hacking anything and everything rather than using the omnigel soon add up.

I think that is what I did. I think you need 60 to get that best armour you get which I think I did.

When is this out again? Later this month? I need to set asside some mulla for it. I was good and not bought batman or assassins creed 2 for xmas but this is a must!

26th Jan for the states, and 29th for the UK, and also for New Zealand as well it seems

if you preorder from certain shops you get bonus items. you also get bonus items if you order the collectors edition

I want to order the collectors edition from play to get the collectors edition bonus items, and the store bonus items, but play dont f**kin sell the collectors edition. the only place ive seen it is game

Im wondering whether itll kill my xbox or be unplayable. ME has a large amount of popping and will frequently pause for a few secs in levels to load things. Quite often Ill get 30 seconds into a cutscene before the armour textures are rendered properly. I presume all this is due to it being a 1st gen box that has already RRODd once and gone off to MS. I was actually kinda hoping the 2nd playthrough would kill it so I could get an elite and use it on my monitor in my room, as the TV downstairs is so bad you can hardly ever read the text in games.

I just hit level 59 I noticed whilst on the Citadel at the end. Have 67k and need 862100 to go from 59 to 60. Im hopeful that Ill hit 70k by the end of this play through, leaving maybe just the core worlds to do on a 3rd play through to hit 60. Certainly 56-59 has only taken 6 hours or so.

I think a full play thru was probably around 16-18 hours

but that could probably drop dramatically if you know exactly what to do

Aye. Considering my save is now at something near to 50 hours play for 2 full runs. I think I started in the low 40k area of xp on the second run through, so I only got 37k for that run. With about 18k to go I think itll take a further 10 hours gameplay maybe to do about half the missions, seriously considering not doing that though, as I am guessing to get full benefit I will need to make all the right choices again. Id like it if I could just play to 60 and get the bonus, but you need to complete the game. I CBA doing the side quests though, so might just settle with level 59 for now, untill I find a complete list of all the things that get imported so I can just do them.

I believe the benefit of getting to level 60 is as follows:
you have the ability to research upgrades on the normandy in ME2 and if you reached 60 in ME then you get extra materials or sh*t to be used in researching

Depends if you prefer RPG or 1st person shooter. Personally Bioshock doesnt come close but its all down to preference.
Career, Wife, Mortgage... my sig was better when it listed guitars and PC's and stuff!
