Intel, ARM and AMD all affected to some extent. Apple Macs and Iphones too. Hopefully they can fix without a rumoured possible 30% performance hit.

What they wont tell you its based around their backdoors they ALL have in there. This has come about when what the Intel OS that is on all their chips could do and people got cracking into exploiting and found the back door and abused it, they then found it on other chipsets as well.

There is another thing going around as well, The Linksys OS issues - It actually applies to the NAS company they own as well with the same exploit. They patched all the routers but did not touch any of the NAS storage devices and only JUST starting to do that now.

The effect is marginal with the patches put out, its a whole lot of scaremongering. LOLz at the Intel CEO selling off all his stock though  :lol:
