They never did discount on food at Chester.

They have a deal with the pizzahut next door for BOGOF now though which is good.

I went to Cineworld Canary Wharf for the first time in ages the other day to watch Woman in Black and was appalled at the price of food. I think it was £14 for a popcorn and two drinks. They're completely taking the piss and I wont be going to the cinema for quite some time because of it.

Last night we paid £15.50 for:

Large Drink
Medium Drink
3 x Calippo's
Bag of Peanut M&M's
Bag of other random chocolate

Thought the price was good for a cinema.

I didn't, funnily enough he turned up at the last minute!

21 Jump Street is the funniest film I have seen in a long long time. Worth a watch.

I noticed The Grey is on your watched list, what did you make of it?

I've been hearing good things about Contraband too despite critics not seeming to dig it.

I enjoyed it, but as it was supposed to be a survival film there was quite a few things that where a bit too far fetched and unrealistic and also the ending left me feeling really disappointed.

I think it had the potential to be alot better but was still a decent watch.

I'll be watching Contraband later this week, it does look good.

The Hunger Games wasn't total pants IMO, bit it is vastly overrated and pretty much a throwaway.

Went to a Sky Rewards screening of The Cabin in the Woods last night. Very good film, with just the right mixture of comedy, action and jumpy bits. You can certainly tell Joss Whedon had a hand in the creation of it.

Not watched it, but the trailer suggest they've ripped off Evil Dead.

Not Groovy.

I wasn't impressed by the Hunger Games either. Give me The Running Man anyday.
