Green Lantern was ok, good bit of action and decent story, but it felt rushed and cobbled together a little bit to me.
Going to go and see Senna tonight, been looking forward to when cineworld were allowed to show it for ages.
I'll have to check about the money off snacks as I am eating a dangerous amount of popcorn since I got this unlimited card and it costs a fortune, but it feels wrong sitting down in the cinema without it.
It was a really strange atmosphere in the cinema aswell, alot of french and japanese exchange students I think, they where clapping and cheering throughout the film and laughing out loud (really loud) at the little one liners and come backs etc.

That can ruin a film imo, no matter how good it is if something like that is going on I'll leave in a bad mood which will spill over to my opinion of the film ;) Not saying that Transformers isn't what we hoped it would be, haven't seen it yet but should be going at the weekend.

I remember seeing District 9 at the cinema, people were laughing at horrendously inappropriate moments. The whole point of the story seemed to fly completely over their heads.
If people were allowed to smoke, there would be a lot less popcorn eating.

Seriously? The only thing I can think of that would be worse at the cinema than the stink of cheap, rancid hotdogs and burgers would be the stench of cigarette smoke. It's bad enough if you sit down next to someone who's been smoking before they've come inside, it bloody reeks.

Don't sit next to them then...................?
Preferential discounts - Unlimited customers get exclusive discounts on food and drinks in cinema.

I went to Cineworld Canary Wharf for the first time in ages the other day to watch Woman in Black and was appalled at the price of food. I think it was £14 for a popcorn and two drinks. They're completely taking the piss and I wont be going to the cinema for quite some time because of it.
Did you pretend to be Alan's brother this time? :P
I noticed The Grey is on your watched list, what did you make of it?
I've been hearing good things about Contraband too despite critics not seeming to dig it.
The Hunger Games wasn't total pants IMO, bit it is vastly overrated and pretty much a throwaway.
Not watched it, but the trailer suggest they've ripped off Evil Dead.
Not Groovy.
Battleships = loved it :w00t:
guys guys guys... Prometheus on Friday!! woooooo!
